My First Words — Workbooks for Beginning Readers
My First Words is a growing series of workbooks that helps children ages 4–6 learn the 100 words beginning readers see most often. Every word gets its own page to color, trace, write, and say out loud — and a QR code on every page lets children hear the word spoken. Because children first learn to read, and then they read to learn, these first 100 words are the foundation on which everything else is built.

Workbook 1 · Words 1–25 — The first 25 Dolch sight words. One page per word to color, trace, write and say, a coloring break, a maze, and cut-out flashcards at the back
Workbook 2 · Words 26–50 — The next 25 words (50 so far!). Same page-per-word practice, a fishing coloring break, a word search, and more flashcards

A note from the author:
I have spent my career mentoring students and young adults toward their education and career goals. Serving on the Grants Committee of the Literary Society of the Southwest, I saw the start of that journey: children in early-literacy programs, learning their very first words.
